Milk is packed full of protein and a great deal of other important nutrients - so being able to find an alternative is incredibly helpful in helping ensure you stay well energized and well fed.
One of our more popular categories of dairy alternative is our oat, rice and hemp category. All of these are great alternatives to store bought milk - they also generally have much longer "use by" dates on them. They go great in tea or coffee, can be used for cooking or can just be drank on their own.
If you're looking for a nice dose of naturally occurring protein and fats then you may gravitate more towards nut based milks. Coconut milk is a great starting point and a great source of hydration throughout the day. If you're looking for something a little bit sweeter you might consider hazelnut - which you can add to hot chocolate to create a ridiculously delicious choc/hazelnut spread flavoured beverage.
Perhaps you're totally allergic to nuts and you're looking for another alternative? We also have soya based milk drinks. Soy has a particularly good amino acid matrix for being a plant based food, so it's maybe worth investigating.
