Tea is an incredibly ancient beverage. In fact, it’s 5000 years old. Legend has it that it was discovered by accident by a chinese emperor in the year 2732 B.C. Allegedly a gust of wind spilled some tea leaves into a pot of water he was boiling. Allured by the curious scent of the drink, he decided to give it a try.

It’s been a long time since then, but one thing hasn’t changed. People love tea.

You’re not just confined to a handful of types of leaves, either, when it comes to tea. Tea can be made from a variety of things. One particularly common type of tea that’s seen a surge in popularity in recent years is mushroom tea. This has primarily accumulated so much popularity due to its allegedly brain boosting affects. Often times these teas are combined with other beneficial herbs to create a sort of “Nootropic cocktail” in the form of an aromatic and delicious heated beverage.

Other types of teas you’ll commonly see in use are immuoboosting teas. These are teas that have been packed with important vitamins and minerals to ensure the continued healthy function of your body.

It doesn’t matter if it’s the middle of the summer or the peak of the harshest of winters, nothing can really beat a cup of tea when it comes to helping you feel cozy.
