Our protein range is particularly comprehensive, it features products by notable brands such as USN and Tom Oliver. The types of protein available also vary pretty widely. Both in terms of flavour, percentage and additional ingredients. Some proteins come pre-infused with additional amino acids for recover or additional creatine for strength. We also do casein proteins, which are longer chained, slow release proteins that are perfect for consuming before bed.
Creatine is particularly useful as it allows you to regenerate more ATP within your body. This is effectively a unit of "cellular energy" - having more of it can manifest itself in the form of you being able to squeeze out a few extra reps in the gym, or in some cases throw a kilogram or two on top of your max.
Amino acids are very useful. Protein itself is effectively just a long chain of amino acids that is broken down in your body. Only a few of these amino acids really go to building muscle, though. So many people opt to also supplement with amino acids whilst consuming protein. Amino acids can be thought of as the "building blocks" of your body. They're quite literally used to stitch your muscles back together when you have damaged them. Except your body deliberately "over-repairs" these regions in preparation for similar levels of stress in the future. This is why you need to work out and consume good quality amino acids in order to gain muscle.
Pre-workouts are particularly useful for those who do not have enough energy to go straight to the gym. They can give you a nice little kickstart to your workout and in some cases boost oxygen flow around the body.
